A Poem

So your errors reach around to hug the jugular
stellar mindset

not nearly enough to encapsulate
two feet on the ground
or standing on the ancient chair that cannot let go

Twins of importance and ego-dominated
spectacles
the new version of hanging of hanging oneself

by that loosened umbilical wire

Tragedy had gone looking
wouldn’t say it made the mistake till acknowledged in a group

strict dying returns
and the tongue is left all the way outside of
the mouth

You want to talk torture
so you spit out a few handfuls of nails
first

But nothing solvent enters the gap
and the heinousness of forgetting is not even available
for consideration
