In the attic of your mind, where thoughts often dwell, Lie countless little stories that our spirits often tell. A circus in full swing, with joy, fear, and regret, Oh, the power of the mind, let’s not forget.

Imagine thoughts as monkeys, swinging high and low, Tossing fruits of emotions, in this mental show. A banana peel of worry, an apple core of dread, Watch your step, or you might slip on the path ahead.

A fearful thought? A grumpy ape tossing pebbles your way, Clouding your mind’s clear sky into a gloomy grey. An anxious thought? A sneaky monkey hiding your peace, Stealing your tranquil moments, causing calm to cease.

But here’s a twist to this tale, a secret of the mind, You’re the ringmaster of this circus, not just the confined. Don’t let the monkeys run amok, don’t let them take the rein, Remember, you have the power to drive the monkey train.
