Eduboard Review

I continue sharing my personal experience with online tutoring platforms and now I want to present pros and cons of Eduboard tutoring service. This is another online tutoring platform that encourages students to make progress and improve their grades. Sometimes students fail to seize the essence of the concept and need additional consultations. That is when online tutoring gives a helping hand. Eduboard is a brand new company that only gains pace ahead and competes with such business sharks as Chegg and Tutorme. Most Eduboard reviews will share my opinion, yet I want to tell you more about the company and the services it renders.

All Edu board tutors are senior students or graduates from US and Canadian colleges and universities. They are willing to help students gain deeper knowledge and solve their homework problems as well as get them prepared for tests and exams. They are dedicated and friendly professionals that can explain concepts in layman’s terms. They do not do the assignments for you, instead they guide you to get the answer to questions you have and find solutions to bothersome problems.

If you cannot find your subject on the list, feel free to submit a request and their experts will try to help you nevertheless. You can set the deadline when your question must be answered. This feature is possible only after payment.

Unlike other online tutoring platforms, here on Eduboard, you can use one of three tutoring options:

Online session is a class where you can communicate with your tutor in real time and use the tools of whiteboard technology as file sharing, audio and chat features.

Quick answer suggests a text written by a tutor where he or she explains your problem and send it by the deadline. You can ask a question, give a task or provide an equation.

Video tutorial is similar to “quick answer”, but you get a video recorded by the tutor where your question is answered.

As you can see, their tutoring prices range from $2 to $100 according to your needs and budget. Online session costs $20 per half an hour, for a quick answer you will pay $2 per answer and the price for a video tutorial on average is $15. The pricing provided on the website is quite general, but you can find detailed pricing on the page of each tutor because they set the cost per hour themselves. Besides, you can apply the Eduboard promo code while registering and get a discount up to 10%. You can make payments only via PayPal as they currently cannot use your credit card for transactions. However, PayPal registration is free, quick and secure.

You can ask help from the company’s support team that works regular hours, as stated on the website. However, support is often unavailable during rush hours. Customer care managers do not work on weekends. Yet, their FAQ section and Knowledge Base will provide you with the answers you may need for some explanations or assistance. You can contact the company via Skype, phone, and email, write comments on Facebook. Their support system must be updated to the needs of students as it is very convenient when you have someone to answer your questions 24/7.

Eduboard has a very easy-to-use interface design. No irrelevant information, only sections that are important. They are placed on the upper line of the website. Their digital classroom has all features listed in the description. You can add files, draw lines and figures, write text, add images, create graphs, import documents, erase and speak with your tutor. You can use a demo classroom before the session not to get confused and spare precious time. The registration is very simple and convenient, just fill in the from, verify your email and get started. Then you place your order to your account. However, the countdown starts only after the payment. I used all services and they worked without delay and technical troubles. One thing to remember is that you and your tutor must be logged in when you order an online class to use the tools of whiteboard technology.

As you can see from my Eduboard review, the company is only gathering momentum. With better support, more tutors online and their unique features they will go up against well-established online tutoring businesses.
