How satisfied are you with the life you lead?

Right at the start of the really interesting online event — from around minute 6 — Bruno Frey expressed that he is curious about many things, and that he follows his curiosity, as he works in and across many different areas. I understood that it makes him happy to follow his interests and explore what he finds is important and meaningful. Following up on this, I learned from what Bruno Frey mentioned that people need opportunities move outside of narrow working fields.

Trying to find out what questions to ask to find purpose, this is what I discovered so far:

From minute 18 as well as from minute 32 Bruno Frey underlined that possibilities to contribute and participate in decision making clearly increase happiness. In this regard, I heard him value direct democracy higher than representative democracy, as more people in direct democratic systems have the possibility to participate in decision making.
